What This Page Does
This page allows you to opt out of cookie-based tracking by Wizora's ad serving technology. When you opt out, Wizora will set a persistent opt-out cookie on your browser. This cookie signals our servers to stop setting any further tracking cookies on your device for purposes such as frequency capping or campaign attribution.
You will still see ads served through our Platform. Basic ad events (impressions, clicks, video engagement) will continue to be recorded for billing, carbon emission measurement, and campaign reporting — but without any user-identifiable information associated with them.
What Wizora Tracks
When an advertisement is delivered through our technology, we record:
- Ad event data: impression events, click events, and video engagement events (start, first quartile, midpoint, third quartile, complete, mute, unmute, pause, resume, fullscreen)
- Technical metadata: approximate geographic location derived from IP address, device type, browser category, and timestamp of the event
Our Data Retention and Anonymization Approach
Wizora is designed with privacy by default. Our data pipeline operates as follows:
- Raw event logs containing technical metadata (such as IP address and User-Agent) are stored for a maximum of 48 hours for real-time billing reconciliation, fraud detection, and debugging
- After 48 hours, raw logs are automatically and permanently deleted via time-to-live (TTL) expiration — no raw logs are retained beyond this window
- All reporting and analytics data is stored in a fully anonymized table where no user-identifiable information is present. It is not possible to trace any record back to an individual user
This approach ensures compliance with TCF (Transparency and Consent Framework) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements for data minimization and purpose limitation.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information through our ad serving technology
- We do not create user profiles for behavioral advertising or retargeting
- We do not build audience segments targeted at children under 13 years of age
- We do not use cross-site cookie matching or cookie syncing between different third parties
- We do not sell, rent, or share user data with any third party

Important Information
You will continue to see advertisements. The opt-out prevents Wizora from setting tracking cookies and associating any cookie identifier with your ad interactions.
Impressions, clicks, and video events are still counted for billing reconciliation and carbon emission measurement, but without any user-identifiable data. This data cannot be traced back to you.
Regardless of whether you opt out, all raw event logs containing any technical metadata are automatically and permanently deleted after 48 hours. Only fully anonymized aggregate data is retained.
If you use multiple browsers or devices, you will need to opt out on each one separately.
If you clear your browser cookies, the opt-out cookie will be deleted and you will need to visit this page again to opt out.
